Why The Customer Needed A Garden Building
After considering alternatives and visiting our Buckinghamshire showroom, Louisa and her family decided that a garden room was the ideal solution to their need for extra space.
With a young family, a home extension would have been costly and disruptive to their lives. Louisa required a space where their guests could come and stay, without everyone getting under each other’s feet in their home.
As an interior designer for residential and commercial properties, Louisa also needed a space to bring clients for meetings.
What We Did
Louisa worked with the design team at Green Retreats to create her perfect garden room. A 4.5m x 3m Inspiration with a stylish graphite fascia was the ideal choice; with its practical design and modern asthetic fitting perfectly into the width of their Twickenham garden.
As an interior designer, Louisa then set to work fitting the interior of her studio with beautiful details. Louisa worked with her chosen plumber to create a stylish bathroom in a partitioned area of her garden room, showing just how versatile these spaces in the garden can be! She also added a sedum roof as a way to give back to nature, and wallpapered the interior for a contemporary finish.
The Finished Project
Louisa enjoys the versatility a garden room brings to her and her family’s lives. Not only is it space for her guests to enjoy, without the fear of inconvenience, but also gives her space away from her home to bring clients. The family also use it as a chill-out room where the kids can spill out and enjoy themselves in.
