In most cases, you won’t need planning permission for your garden room due to permitted development rights . As a general rule, if it’s under 2.5 meters high and located more than 2 meters from the boundary, planning permission isn’t required. However, if you’re in a conservation area or listed property, special conditions may apply.
If you’re in any doubt, give us a call and we would be glad to help. It’s always a good idea to check with your local council too. If you do require planning permission, we have a specialist team who can help with the planning application process on your behalf, taking care of the hassle for you.
