How long does it take to build a garden room?
It takes between 2 and 5 days to install a Green Retreats garden room, offering minimal disruption to your home and garden. The full installation includes laying the base foundations, assembling the walls and roof, making the building watertight, fitting the cladding and completing all electrical work. Every stage is handled by our professional in-house team to ensure a smooth, high-quality finish.

Designed and built in the UK
All aspects of our garden building construction are handled internally, with our skilled team producing each element from our expansive 65,000 sq. ft production facility in Buckinghamshire. This includes the production of doors and windows, ensuring comprehensive quality assurance of your garden room designs throughout every process stage.
Planning permission rarely required
Most garden buildings fall within permitted development rights, meaning you can avoid the hassle of planning permission to create the extra space you need quickly. There are a few exceptions, depending on the area that your live in and local council rules, but our in-house planning department can handle the whole process for you should you require planning.
Fits close to any solid obstacle
Our construction methods mean we can build as close as 400mm to any solid boundary or obstacle, like a fence or your house giving you the full flexibility of the building position. For a building that’s over 15m2 we can build as close as 1m to a boundary.

The Green Retreats Group sends no waste to landfill. All waste generated by The Green Retreats Group is either recycled or used as fuel to produce power for our local village power grid.

Fantastic product and service to match
We had a 3.5m by 5m garden studio installed last month and we are delighted with the result. We are using it as a home gym and love the extra space it has given us!
