In the price of your garden room, we’ve got you covered for the base foundations too! We usually finish this about a week before your installation date, giving the concrete plenty of time to set. It takes our teams around half a day to create and test the base, making sure everything’s solid for your new space.

About the A Range
The A-Range from Green Retreats is our range of apex roof garden rooms, or pitched roof garden rooms. These modern and stylish buildings feature a striking 30-degree pitched roof that not only creates an incredible internal height but also an amazing focal point for your garden.
With its impressive roof height, this pitched roof garden room offers generous headroom, making the interior even more expansive. The A Range designs maximise vertical space, so you’ll enjoy plenty of room to move freely in an inviting, spacious atmosphere. Some practical extra-height uses are home gyms that incorporate a power cage, pull-up bar, above-head weight lifting, treadmills or skipping, and golf simulators.
An apex roof garden room brings a stylish, functional addition to your garden that enhances both the aesthetics and usability of your outdoor space.
For designs that are more than 6m deep for the A1 design, or 6m wide or the A2 design, an internal support wall will be required. Please speak to a Sales & Design team member for further details.

The Apex Roof Garden Room features a striking 30-degree pitched roof, offering impressive internal height and a spacious, airy feel.
At 5 metres wide, the pitched roof garden room reaches a maximum height of 4 metres (3.93m to be exact) at the apex, giving you an impressive sense of space inside. For narrower widths, the height reduces proportionally, maintaining a balanced, visually pleasing design that fits seamlessly into any garden layout.
Thanks to its design, planning permission is not required if the room is at least 2 metres from your property boundary and you have permitted development rights, making it an easy, hassle-free addition to your garden.
Perfect for home gyms, studios, or simply enjoying more space, the apex roof garden room combines style, practicality, and ample headroom in one stylish package.

Payment Schedule & Finance Options
£300 Holding Deposit
Due: At any early stage of your planning
Your £300 holding deposit reserves your installation date, fully changeable and refundable up until 6 weeks before your installation date.
60% Building Deposit
Due: 6 weeks before installation
We begin production of your building 6 weeks prior to installation. It is at this point that we will require a 60% payment.
Remaining Balance
Due: 30% on final day of initial construction.
It generally takes us just 3-5 days to install your garden room. Once it has been installed and you are happy with it, we will ask to sign off your Green Retreats garden room and pay the remaining 10% as your final payment.
Finance Option
Green Retreats now offer flexible finance options on all garden room products. Whether you’re looking for a garden gym, office or studio space, our finance options allow you to explore the options of spreading the cost of your garden room over between 3 and 10 years in monthly instalments.

All we ask for is a deposit to secure the fully refundable date until 6 weeks before, so there’s no pressure if you change your mind or would like to delay.
Do I need planning permission for the A Range?
In most cases Garden Rooms do not require planning permission approval as part of your permitted development rights.
However, the A Range, with its extended height peak roof, may fall outside these rights if you plan to have it installed within 2m of your boundary. If your project does require planning permission, it’s no problem! We have an in-house planning service that can take care of the whole process for you.
