With just over a month till Christmas, many people have either completed their Christmas shopping or are completely on the opposite end of the spectrum and haven’t even begun. If you are stuck for ideas, we’ve come up with a list of gifts you can get those near and dear.
Something for The In-Laws
A fail-safe present for most people is the gift of chocolate! Especially at this time of year, finding a delicious chocolate hamper won’t be that hard to do. Who can resist the decadent Hotel Chocolat hampers? You also don’t need to pay an arm and a leg for a luxurious hamper. Why not get them the “Merry Christmas Everyone” hamper which includes a cheeky bottle of mini prosecco.
A thoughtful present for many people is the gift of nature. The National Trust is a charity and membership organisation for the conservation of environmental and heritage sites throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Who wouldn’t love to receive a joint membership to the National Trust? Not only do your recipients get the opportunity to travel and visit the most incredible heritage sites the UK has to offer but you will also be supporting the places you love by purchasing a membership. We think this is a great gift for anyone, no matter their age or relation to you. National Trust sites include the famous Waddesdon Manor which is located 5 minutes from our Westcott showroom in the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside. Why not pop into our showroom on the way down to beautiful Waddesdon Manor. If you’re visiting with friends or family, they can pick up a voucher from our showroom which entitles them to free grounds entry to the manor as well as 10% off food at a local gastropub, The Long Dog.
Don’t Forget the Kids
Kids can either be extremely easy or very difficult to buy for. Many children in this day and age have it all already, so knowing what to buy them for Christmas can be tough. We always find more stimulating toys a better option for the kids, rather than a toy which they will play with for an hour and then forget about. Christmas is the perfect opportunity to gift the kids their first bike. What better way to spend Christmas day than teaching them to cycle?
We love gifts that the whole family can enjoy. Sit down on Christmas day with a fun board game and bring out some healthy competitive spirit. Chose something like ‘Beat The Parents’ or ‘Dobble’ which helps with speed, observation and reflexes.
The Other Half
This is someone you should hopefully know better than anyone. Gifting them something which can be shared between the two of you is always thoughtful in our eyes. Why not gift them a unique dining experience such as this one? A tasting menu is a great way to try many different flavours and experience food in a way you haven’t before. A day out for both of you to enjoy will not only give you great memories but hopefully some lovely experiences and stories too. A day out at the theatre can’t do you wrong.
Give the gift of a garden room! Though garden rooms can be pricy, we couldn’t think of a better time than Christmas to band together as a team and put your hard-earned money together to make the lifelong investment of owning a garden room. Sometimes Christmas can seem like you’re spending money on meaningless or materialistic gifts. If you and your family have been yearning for more space, a garden room is a perfect solution to your problems. Our garden rooms can be used for a multitude of different purposes. From a home office, great for those looking to bring their business closer to home, to an art studio and even a hobby room for the kids, why not give your family the gift of space. If you’re quick, you could even have your garden room installed before Christmas (ts & cs apply).
Get in touch with us to see how we can help you make your Christmas wish come true with a new garden room.

Our garden rooms are priced based on the internal sizes rather than the exterior footprint, making it easier for you to plan your work space. A commercial unit from Green Retreats could end up saving you a fortune from the costs of renting a workspace alone. The price includes base, installation and VAT so there are no (nasty) surprises when it comes to final payment.
