Job: Installer

£14.00 per hour (FTE £30,320 per annum + overtime)

Green Retreats is a specialist company in the planning, building and installation of luxury outdoor buildings. We are currently looking to recruit skilled people to join our existing team based on Westcott Venture Park, Buckinghamshire.

You will be working on customers’ properties, so you must be quality-focused, well-mannered, presentable and have a can-do attitude. Jobs are located across the UK. You will work as part of a team.

A full UK manual driving license, held for a minimum of 12 months is essential.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Building pre-constructed panels together while onsite in the customers garden on a pre-installed base
• Running 1st fix electrics
• Installation of doors and windows, including the toe and heal and balancing
• Building partition walls
• Plaster boarding
• Standard finish; laying flooring, skirting and finishing trims
• Clean down of garden room
• Siliconing
• Decking install and building ramps
• Cladding
• Metal finishing flashing
• Loading and unloading od materials from vans

We are looking for candidates with skills and experience in the following areas:

• Timber construction, joinery or general construction with wood materials
• Working with a variety of hand and power tools
• Internal doors and stud wall installations
• Timber cladding and decking fitting
• UPVC window, door and glass install
• Laminate flooring, skirting and architrave works
• Trimming and finishing in metals
• Ability to read and understand drawing plans

Additional requirements:

• Full manual driving licence, held for a minimum of 12 months
• Punctuality and reliability are essential
• A good eye for detail and quality of workmanship
• Clean, tidy and well-organised worker, team player
• Working outdoors all year round
• Keeping your vehicle and all tools clean and well maintained
• Flexibility for stayaways
