Sales & Design Consultant, Westcott
Green Retreats manufactures and supplies a range of high-spec luxury garden buildings for various uses, from home offices to art studios and commercial projects. With the company’s continued growth and exciting future plans, we are looking for a dynamic and driven Sales & Design Consultant with prior sales experience to join our team and help drive conversions.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Sales Growth
- Build strong relationships with customers by engaging actively, understanding their needs, and presenting tailored solutions to collect customer deposits and confirm customer orders.
- Follow up on leads promptly to maximise sales opportunities and achieve individual and team sales targets including following up with leads.
- Confidently guide customers through their purchasing journey, from inquiry to sale, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Manage and book appointments for onsite design consultants, ensuring schedules are optimised to maintain efficiency.
Customer Quotations & Paperwork
- Process customer quotations following showroom visits, virtual, and onsite consultations, ensuring accuracy, attention to detail and providing all the relevant information in a timely manner.
- Complete sales order paperwork to the highest standard, ready for smooth handover to the customer care team.
- Proactively maintain customer correspondence, keeping all data up-to-date and tracking customer progress through the sales pipeline.
Showroom Sales Support
- Deliver engaging showroom tours and personalised design consultations to convert walk-ins into sales and warm leads.
- Provide outstanding customer service and attention to detail, maintaining high standards throughout the showroom.
Pay and Conditions
- Salary: £26,000 per annum (dependent upon skills and experience).
- Hours: 40 hours per week, 9am-5pm Monday to Friday (half-hour paid lunch break).
- Weekend Work: Required to work 2 days in every 4 weekends (taken as a lieu day or paid at £20/hour).
Skills & Experience
- Proven track record in sales, in a customer-facing environment.
- Results-oriented mindset with a passion for meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt your approach to different customer needs and deliver persuasive sales pitches.
- Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage a sales pipeline effectively and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in IT systems, including CRM tools and other sales platforms.
- Clean UK driving license and own transport.

Our head office is located between Aylesbury and Bicester, just off the A41 on Westcott Venture Park. Due to our location, your own transport is essential.
