Job: Warehouse Inventory Operative

Green Retreats is a Luxury Garden Room manufacturer operating across ~70,000 sqft. across two sites on Westcott Venture Park, just off the A41 in between Aylesbury and Bicester.

We are looking for a Warehouse & Inventory Operative – Monday to Friday.

The Job Role

• Unloading, Inspection, verification and sign off of all goods delivered from suppliers.
• Movement and allocation of stock in and out of the factory.
• Efficient disposal of waste from production warehouse & yard areas to recycling points.
• Minimising and recycling waste across Westcott sites.
• Organising roofs and floors for base teams, checking UPVC Windows to purchase order.
• Deliver materials to site.
• Ensuring efficient and safe operations across Westcott sites, adhering to all health and safety standards.
• Checking Stock Levels monthly and as necessary.
• Booking materials in/out of Inventory Management System, as and when required.
• Picking materials for Field Operative staff.
• Locking & unlocking site buildings, as and when required.
• Material shortages to be reported immediately when identified.
• Assist with the labelling, palletisation, and overall storage of all stock.
• Liaise with supervisor/manager to create and update Standard Operating Procedures for the department.

Requirements

• Experience in working in a similar role
• Experience of using Inventory Management Systems e.g., SAP
• Full driving licence and own vehicle
• Physical fitness – ability to work in a factory environment with both inside and outside working conditions and manual handling of materials
• Enthusiastic team player, with a can-do attitude
• Weekend work maybe required for monthly Stock Take and to support peaks in workload

Desired Skills

• Qualifications in a similar role
• Knowledge of health and safety in factory, warehouse, and yard environments
• Counterbalance forklift license

• Overtime paid at time and a quarter
