Uniquely Yours
Creating a personal space that feels uniquely yours in your garden room is easy. Whether you’re after a unique man cave or creating a space where you can unwind, we’ll help you find original ways to make the space yours.
Add Colour to Your Walls
Our garden rooms are available in a plastered finish if you opt for it. If you’re looking to add a personal touch to your garden room, why not consider painting the internal walls or even adding a unique wallpaper. It is important to note that this is not a service Green Retreats offer. This is something you can either do yourself or hire a professional to undertake.
We love Farrow & Ball for their excellent quality paint. Their paint is eco-friendly, child safe and comes in recyclable tins. Farrow & Ball also offer beautifully handcrafted and incredibly unique wallpaper designs.
Exhibition Space
If you’re someone who likes to collect things, use this as your space to display all your items. With enough wall and floor space to store your entire collection, there’s no need to clutter up your home with these precious items. Keep them safe in your garden room and give yourself the space to exhibit and show off your items.
Let Your Hobbies Evolve
If you have a unique hobby, garden pods are a great space to practice that. Your garden pod could even be the perfect space to practice your yoga or Pilates. Your once hobby could even become a teaching space. Why not consider bringing clients into your space and offering your personal training services. Garden pods allow for plumbing to be installed so can even be a space for aspiring hairdressers or beauty therapists. It is important to note that Green Retreats are not able to install your plumbing but we will liaise with a plumber of your choice to assure that all the necessary openings are in place.
A Zen Space
Nothing makes a space more personal than creating your very own garden sanctuary. Your oasis should be a space that reflects who you are and brings zen into your life. Consider installing mood lighting for ambience. This can be done through the use of dimmable light bulbs which can be used in your favourite desk or standing lamps. Take a leaf out of Marie Kondo’s book and only allow items into your space which “spark joy”, as the organising guru would say. This way you will avoid bringing unnecessary clutter into your garden pod and will give you a chance to truly curate your space.
