Double Glazing
Industry-leading ‘extra-clear’ toughened double-glazing fitted as standard.
Every Green Retreats garden room is fitted with industry-leading double-glazing on all doors and windows as standard – keeping you warm and energy efficient in your garden room.
It is part of our ethos at Green Retreats to use the finest industry-leading materials to provide you with a superior product. This is why we proudly use Pilkington K Optiwhite™ double-glazing for every glass element in your Green Retreats garden room. Pilkington K Glass™ is the original hard-coated, pyrolytic low-emissivity coated thermal glass – argon filled and fitted with a Planitherm layer and Swisspacer to provide superior insulation. This glass allows passive solar gain through the coating, reflecting heat back into your room whilst allowing free heat from the sun to enter – keeping your garden building energy-efficient and warm in those colder winter months.

The Pilkington K Glazing we use is the Optiwhite™ range; designed to be ‘extra clear’ with very high light transmission and therefore allowing more natural light into your garden room.
