The Great British weather is notoriously unpredictable and highly changeable. The vast difference in temperature between our summers and winters mean that we need to be prepared for every possible eventuality when it comes to our homes and garden. 

At Green Retreats we understand the environmental demands placed on UK garden rooms and have perfected our construction especially with the British weather in mind.

Our insulated garden rooms are designed for use all year round. We have engineered our insulation layers throughout our buildings to make a comfortable and healthy space to use that should feel as comfortable as a room in your home.

Thick layers of insulation are paired with vapour barriers that directionally control the flow of air and moisture out of the building, keeping the inside dry and damp free. External heat is reflected away from the building, whilst internal heat is retained in colder months.

What’s more, every building comes as standard with an wall-mounted radiator – which, let’s face it – we could all sometimes use even in summer sometimes!

We design and manufacture  all of our garden room buildings ourselves, here in the UK. Our purpose-built production facility in Buckinghamshire is where we handcraft each building to order. We assemble your building into sections in our factory before we deliver and install them on-site. This makes the installation process much faster and more convenient for you at home, with installations normally lasting only 2-5 days on-site.
