Fantastic product and service to match
We had a 3.5m by 5m garden room installed last month and we are delighted with the result. We are using it as a home gym and love the extra space it has given us! The building also looks fantastic at the bottom of our garden. Green retreats have been an absolute pleasure to deal with. In summary I have been very impressed by both the product and the service provided by green retreats and highly recommend!
UK Garden Rooms FAQs
Planning permission is not normally required as our buildings fall under permitted development (built under 2.5m high externally). Most houses, even in conservation areas and areas of outstanding natural beauty (AONB), have permitted development rights. Flats and listed buildings have no permitted development rights, so they will always need planning permission. Don’t worry, though, as planning is a relatively simple process for our garden rooms, and we are on hand to help with this process.
Garden rooms start from as little as £9,860, but ultimately, the price will depend on the size and additions you want to your building. To see our full garden room prices, you can find out more here.
We are only able to construct buildings that are either square or rectangular within the Green Retreats range.
Yes, you can, though we do not provide plumbing services ourselves. However, we’re happy to coordinate with a plumber of your choice to address any necessary plumbing work. Please feel free to contact us for more details.
