Since our opening in 2005, Green Retreats have designed and installed over 11,000 garden rooms for our customers.
In this time, we have become the UK’s leading and most trusted garden room company. We strive to offer the most superior product available on the market, with great customer service and after-care throughout. It’s not just about Green Retreats. Because we’re so passionate about garden rooms, we’ve created some other brands.
Green Retreats is the parent company, which is formed with our sister brands: The Garden Office, Garden Studio and ProWorkshop to create The Green Retreats Family of Companies.
Rest assured, whilst each company offers its own unique garden room product to suit our wide range of customers; each garden room is manufactured by the same specially trained staff. We manufacture your garden room at our Buckinghamshire factory using the highest quality materials and is ultimately delivered to you at the best possible price.
THE FACTORY & SHOWROOM
The factory is also home to our unique indoor showroom, the largest of its kind, showcasing 14 fully furnished garden room products from within the Green Retreats Family. The showroom something we’re immensely proud of, something else about Green Retreats that sets us apart. Introducing, our new outdoor show space. Featuring a fully landscaped space as well as 4 buildings from the Green Retreats Group range, which allow you to experience our garden rooms in a natural surrounding.
We build our garden rooms for private, commercial, corporate and educational use. Previous customers include The National Trust and Kensington Palace Gardens as well as many charities and schools throughout the country.

The pricing of your building is fully inclusive of everything you need to get started – no hidden costs, no extras needed. This includes VAT, base and installation.
All Green Retreats garden rooms are priced based on the internal floor area, meaning that you pay for the actual extra space you can use, not the external footprint of your garden room.

We aim for a modern customer service approach of the highest quality by making it easy for our customers. We will continue to develop new methods to ‘make it easy’ for our customers in all aspects of our interactions – inclusive of website and showroom developments in 2018.It is our culture at Green Retreats to support and encourage our team members, offering new training opportunities and promoting from within. As the company grows it is our vision to continue to empower our people, providing them the same great service we offer to our customers. Going forward we aim to offer more apprenticeships to support education within our sector.
To further the control of quality of our product, increase our growth and support the UK economy, we aim to move more of our production in-house; applying our skills to other markets and adding more to our offering as a company.
With the increasing concern to the scarcity of natural materials, we will continually review our practices to be in-line with our eco policy, helping to create a balance of our outputs and be sustainable.
Originally established in 1992 as Reeves, a leading animal housing supplier building products for zoos, wildlife parks, animal shelters and the police service. In 2004, Reeves diversified into garden buildings in recognition of the early demand after the revolution of home working.
It was in 2005 that Green Retreats Ltd was launched as a company to focus on our garden room specialty — pioneering purpose built and fully insulated garden room buildings for work and leisure. Since 2005 we have become the largest and most trusted garden room company, encompassing our sister brands The Garden Office, Garden Studio and ProWorkshop.
