Job Description – On-Site Design Consultant

Green Retreats manufacture and supply a range of high specification luxury garden buildings and annexes, with a wide range of uses, from home offices to art studios and a range of commercial projects.

Due to the continued growth of the company and exciting future plans, we have a new position available within our Sales and Design department.

Key Responsibilities

As an On-Site Design Consultant you will visit potential customers at their homes and conduct a full Site Survey and Design Consultation, giving the customer all the information they need on our product and making recommendations along the way.

All visits will be to customers who have requested a survey online, over the telephone, or who have visited our showroom.

Our Design Consultants spend five days on the road and typically cover an area within 100 miles of the factory. Design Consultants typically carry out two to three appointments a day. We operate on a tracking system where hours worked over the contracted hours can be taken back (subject to approval).

Full training on our product and ongoing support is provided.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a customer facing role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, work quickly and manage a varying workload
• Clean UK driving license

Hours & Environment

• Salary: £24,500-£26,500 per annum
• Company car after 3 month successful probation period (You will have a temporary one provided to you during this time) – Including a fuel card for personal miles.
• Monthly paid Performance Bonus – at £2500 per annum
• Lunch allowance when on the road
• Phone allowance
• 20 days paid holiday plus all statutory bank holidays. You will gain an additional 1 days holiday for -every year worked at the company (maximum of 3 additional days)
• 40 hours per week, 5 days between Monday to Sunday with a paid 30 minute lunch break
• Friendly working environment
• Weekend overtime available throughout the year paid at £20 an hour

Our head office is based between Aylesbury and Bicester where our main showroom is situated. Occasional travel to our office will be required
