Visit the Showroom
The first thing we’d suggest would be visiting our showroom, based in the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside. The Green Retreats showroom is the UK’s largest garden room showroom and boasts our entire range of garden rooms across our various brands. We’ve thought of everything when it comes to offering the ultimate showroom experience, with 17 fully furnished garden rooms on display, in various sizes and featuring a multitude of our interior and exterior options for you to make the most informed decision on which garden room is right for you. Our knowledgeable and friendly staff are on hand to explain everything you need to know about our products and answer any questions you may have.

Book Your Free Site Survey
So, you’ve visited the showroom and are ready to take the next step in the garden room buying journey. Following your showroom visit, the next step will be to book your free site survey, where one of our trained site surveyors will visit your site to assess your plot. They will assess whether the plot is suitable and assist you in designing your ideal space. They will explain to you how our buildings are constructed, measure your space and appraise the access to your plot.
Secure an Installation Date
Wherever you are in the stages of planning your garden room, you’ll be able to secure an installation date, which guarantees you a date of your choice. All that’s required is a £200 deposit, which is refundable up to 6 weeks prior to your chosen installation date. Let your installation date reservation give you the freedom to decide on your building style and all your options at a more leisurely pace.
Complete Your Design
Your installation date is booked and you’re now less than 2 months for your build. 6 weeks before your installation date, your design will need to be completed and confirmed with your designated customer care representative. Don’t worry, they’ll be in touch to confirm everything with you. Your representative will then also provide you with an electrical plan to confirm the placement of your lighting, switches and consumer unit. At this point, you will also be required to pay 50% of your building deposit.
Top Tip! – After this point, no changes can be made to your garden room or your installation date! Make sure you’re happy with every detail before this point.
The Exciting Part
1 week before your installation date, our team will pay you a visit to lay down the base foundations for your garden room. This gives the concrete base enough time to set before the big day. This process doesn’t take long at all and only requires about half a day for your team to create and test. Then it’s finally time for the exciting part of the process, delivery and installation. This process takes between 2-5 days with our team guaranteeing the structure to be weather tight by the end of the first day, putting your mind at ease. After your building has been installed and you are happy with the end result, the remaining balance is due to be paid.
