Do garden offices add value to your home?
A quality made garden office building can add value to your home. Using only premium grade materials means that our garden office buildings are built to last. Every building comes with a comprehensive 12-year guarantee and is designed for a 30-year life. Garden buildings have soared in popularity over the years, having until recently been a product that was not well understood. Now, garden buildings such as ours are hugely popular and with that popularity is a familiarity of quality. Your garden office building’s quality, as well as the addition of extra usable space at home, is very likely to translate positively with the potential buyers.
Do you offer garden offices that are larger than 30 square metres?
Any garden offices larger than 30 square metres internally would need to comply with building regulations which makes them a more expensive build project with a longer lead time. We do offer a range of building designs that comply with building regulations for those who need them. If you require a larger building or if you need a building as permanent living accommodation then check out our annex range.
Are garden offices good value for money?
When considering how much does a garden room cost, it is important to also consider it’s value for money. Garden rooms are a cost-effective way to add extra space at home. Other potential costs involved in adding a garden office:
When considering how much does a garden office cost, it is important to know all costs that could be involved in the process.
- Electrical connection
- Delivery
- Levelling
- Landscaping
- Potential Planning Permission fees
Electrical connection:
Electrical connection from your home to the garden office is an unknown until your free site survey and design consultation. Once we know the distance and the demands for electricity in your building we can provide a quote. You have the option for us to complete the work for you using our very own electrical company (we never outsource our work) or you are welcome to use your own preferred electrician if you have one.
Delivery:
The price of delivery is included within 100 miles of our Buckinghamshire factory (HP18 0XB). If you live outside of a 100-mile radius then please get in touch and a member of our admin team will calculate the delivery for you.
Levelling:
We need your ground to be level within 200mm to install your foundations and garden office building. The only groundwork we carry out for you is the concrete mini-pile foundations. If your ground needs levelling then you should get a couple of quotes from different landscapers if you can.
Your ground does not need to be level or cleared in preparation for your free site survey.
Landscaping:
We currently do not offer landscaping services. If you are having your garden landscaped as part of your garden office installation we would be happy to liaise with your chosen contractor to make sure your plans go smoothly.
