Why The Customer Needed A Building
Grindsmith Coffee Shop originally started as an Italian coffee cart based in Manchester. As a result of their success and reputation, they were approached by the council to open a more permanent unit in Greengate Square next to Irwell River.
Wanting to jump at the opportunity but not brave the elements in the colder months, especially with the chill of the river and square’s fountains to contend with, Grindsmith searched for a unique space that suits their style whilst being a more comfortable place to work.
What We Did
Thinking outside the box lead Grindsmith to find Green Retreats garden rooms as their year-round solution for a stylish commercial unit. They chose the G4 building as the perfect fit for their coffee shop, being something completely different to anything else available in the market. They love the unique appearance of the design with its forward-leaning front aspect.
The building was fitted with bi-fold doors, perfect for creating more useable space for customers to relax in the summer months, bringing the outside-in and vice versa.
The Finished Project
After our job was done with the installation, the Grindsmith team got to work kitting out the interior with rustic character. The exterior of the commercial unit was also fitted with bespoke shutters for added security.
The Grindsmith Coffee Pod building is a unique space that perfectly fits the vibe of the company. It is a comfortable place to work all year round, and customers have a place to sit and enjoy their gourmet drinks that is like no other.
